So it ends. I’m pretty much completely happy. I just want to let you know that this is a really amazing thing, here. I sincerely hope there’s more somewhere down the line!
Through all the saddness, suspence, drama, and overall substantially darker tones displayed in this volume how the HELL do you manage to still give it such a feel-good ending?
Of all the things that I like in this particular comic, I actually like the back of Sera’s head the most. There’s something about the tilt, and the detail in the hair. Very… hopeful. XD
And my, doesn’t Vicious look witchy and awesome in that first frame. “Matronly” totally overshoots the meaning I’m looking for. Maybe just “mature”. Like a tough older sister. Have both her and Sera matured a bit?
Will have to pick up one o’ those shiny paper versions.
As all great things must come to an end, it’s a shame that I wont be able to follow the bi-weekly updates.
It was a really nice run and I look forward to catching volume 3, whenever that may be. I’ll also be picking up the collection in december to match with my copy of ‘negativity’.
White streaks must’ve been Should-be-a-dame V opening the window up. Wish I had her as my mentor during my apprenticeship. Six AM start? Would fight Stilette bare handed in the nude for that kinda start!
I wonder if Mary-Ann wasn’t doing the horns at sister, but instead V.
Also, just figured out why we’re seen as polite, thanks to V’s way of speaking in this here section alone.
replacement sparrow: I completely agree. I to love the way the back of her head was drawn. Cool Vicious got new earrings. Her earrings look a little like her old ones, but improved.
Ms V, butterfly and all finally appears, how nice. It’s certainly a lead in to vol 3
but 6 AM, Sera doesn’t strike me as a morning person.
but I’ll guess we’ll have to wait till Thursday for the discussion with Mr A to see exactly what he has in store for us, his intrepid readers.
My, doesn’t V make a magnificent entrance in her rugged-yet-tasteful travelling costume! Did it take all those four days to float the cottage from Africa, or is this Wednesday?
@Nightsong: That’s V’s own ‘scarheart’ emblem!
@Grim: Ooh yeah, she was looking right at the window wasn’t she? I wonder if the MA’s been to a live show yet? Or maybe she was just echoing V’s private greeting to her? Cool either way!
It’s terrible how anxious this makes me already for the next volume. I had so hoped something like this would happen. We love you Vicious! I’m so happy Sera got something akin to a happy ending–lord knows she deserved it.
@Alpha Tess? THINK OF THE K-DOG! He’s gonna make a whole new kind of nervousness! And she is bound to have heard something of V’s songs from Serenity, if only because she played outloud once in a while.
If I had a floating house, I don’t think I’d put it on the ground, it just looses some of the cool value then. Maybe the FAA gets annoyed when you leave them up there. I wonder if you have to register flight plans with them for real estate.
At the very least, I’d probably have the house back in the air by day two, since there’s nothing short of death that’ll keep Tess from being there all day every day, and as much as I like Tess I think I’d like her a little less after eight to twelve solid hours of interaction. Up in the air I figure I’d have at least a week before she manages to steal a helicopter, then I’m just screwed.
Aw, Sera gets to remain in Crestfallen, and still have V as a teacher! What a nice ending for a mighty kickass book. Beautifully done, Mr. A! Your creation is awe-inspiring.
Applause and congratulations on another absolutely amazing volume Mr. A! Your work has always deeply inspired me and with this conclusion comes another great addition to the record. I hope to see more and more of our favorite witch in the future! I await volume 3 patiently but with just about all the anticipation my body could have. Truly awesome work!
Ahh, lovely ending to it all 🙂 loveloveloved every little bit of this story you cooked up here, Aaron dear.
Hope to see another page on thursday! *crosses fingers*
So um, If Mr A (or anyone who knows) happens to come across this, just curious..
I went back and reread both volumes (skimmed, really) because I couldn’t think of how many actual *witches* were in the crestfallen coven when they made their little move. I didn’t find it (I might have missed it), so I was wondering what he answer was? If there is one? Or if it’s some sort of spoiler and I shouldn’t know yet.
@Seedlet: they never said, but they built far too many houses for even all 57, much less any one coven…. I’d guess they had non-witchy friends around too.
(Not to mention servants, for when you get tired of goblin antics. With power like that, any of them could either attract or just plain ‘press’ as many followers as they liked. In http://www.girlgeniusonline.com , pretty much the entire population of Mechanicsburg is like that, and eagerly so.)
& I’m also guessing that the “Seven Witching Families” were ‘families’ in more of an adoptive sense or something….. they must have been families you *join*, since witches apparently don’t reproduce.
This page is drawn beautifully. Probably my favorite artwork in anything you’ve done in this series.
I’m just going to echo everyone else’s responses and say, it’s wonderful to see a happy ending for Sera. Although I’m sure there are some clouds on the horizon…it’s still nice to see her happy at least until issue 3 starts up.
Yay! we need more! actually I’m now waiting for the full thing to come out as an actual physical volume. That will be fantastic. A 3rd volume would also be welcome if time permits.
It’s sad to think that the story is over, I’ve been visiting here since page twenty, it had become part of my routine, it turned out better than I would have believed back in the beginning.
one word when I read this: “YESSSS!” XD Can’t wait to buy the fleshy copy! ^^ It’s been a magnificent ride, sad it has to come to a stop for a while, already excited for the next one.
So it ends. I’m pretty much completely happy. I just want to let you know that this is a really amazing thing, here. I sincerely hope there’s more somewhere down the line!

So much for getting out of Witchcraft 101!
I knew it was Vicious! I WANT A VOLUME 3 D8
It is….DONE
More damn you, you beautiful bastard! More! I yearn and crave MORE.
Yoy~! A finisher is you. And a good finish too.
Of all the things that I like in this particular comic, I actually like the back of Sera’s head the most. There’s something about the tilt, and the detail in the hair. Very… hopeful. XD

Insert fanboy-squeals here. My favourite character appears! <3
Fun fact: There are no handicapped parking spots for floating cottages.
Awww, and so it ends. It has been a good run. Lovly to get to read all the pages and I can’t wait to get the book.
Oh, by the way, I’m at some airport in London reading this. Couldn’t wait to get home and read the last page there 🙂
Vicious! <3 I’m so happy to see it end like this. 🙂 I can’t wait for the book! *excitement*
well isnt that nice 🙂 its been fun guys!!! Thank you Aaron for a wonderful Vol.2 and see you all for Vol.3 whenever that may be.
Called it! I can’t wait for the book or volume 3! Thank so much. The story rocks!
As all great things must come to an end, it’s a shame that I wont be able to follow the bi-weekly updates.

And what’s this I hear about thursday..?
yay V~
also, very nice work. i look forward to buying it in the flesh (and have resisted rereading it until i do so)
very looking forward to Vol3
And thus, the mountain (or hillock) comes to Mohammed.
Wow! all that wraped up in tw panels.
Woooo! It’s Lady V herself! Looks like they’ll be plenty of her in volume 3.
White streaks must’ve been Should-be-a-dame V opening the window up. Wish I had her as my mentor during my apprenticeship. Six AM start? Would fight Stilette bare handed in the nude for that kinda start!

Oh yeah…. forgot V lives in a floating house.
😀 You just made my morning fantastic.
go vicious! i’m so happy!!
replacement sparrow: I completely agree. I to love the way the back of her head was drawn. Cool Vicious got new earrings. Her earrings look a little like her old ones, but improved.
One word. Awsome!
absolutely worth the wait. Thank you Mr. A for a fantastic story.
Showed p a little late, huh V? Ah who am I kidding? We’re glad to see ya!
Yaaaaay! Standing ovation’d!
Am I mistaken or does V’s belt buckle look like Sera’s emblem?
Ms V, butterfly and all finally appears, how nice. It’s certainly a lead in to vol 3

@Dave: Damn you, you beat me to it!
p.s. Tess is gonna immaculately birth a cinder block when she hears….;)
It’s terrible how anxious this makes me already for the next volume. I had so hoped something like this would happen. We love you Vicious! I’m so happy Sera got something akin to a happy ending–lord knows she deserved it.
<3
<3 <3 <3
(on a tiny pedantic note, I think there is an “of” missing between “duration” and “your education”. Just trying to help)
Please ignore the above. I’m not properly awake yet. Of course it’s right. *sigh*
And finally, Sera gets her happy ending. *smile*
@Alpha Tess? THINK OF THE K-DOG! He’s gonna make a whole new kind of nervousness! And she is bound to have heard something of V’s songs from Serenity, if only because she played outloud once in a while.
AAAH Im so happy. Now I am going to reread it from the beggining and buy the book hah!
seriously like. PERFECT ending *sigh*
“AAAH Im so happy. Now I am going to reread it from the beggining and buy the book hah!”
Now that sounds like a good idea! Here we go!
Synchnorised re-reading of Serenity Rose.
Sounds like a good union.
lol… that made me happy and giggle in happiness… 🙂
*so obsessed*…
How much do I love this? Words fail me…
I am buying the hell out of the book when it comes out. It’s just…*wipes away tear* just a really beautiful thing. Thank you, Aaron!
@Grim: Oh, they’re all definately big-time fans…. but somehow Tess’ manic-shock-frenzy amuses me more than Kelton’s sudden statue impersonation…. 😉
(though it would be funny if he went slack-jawed & started dribbling!)

You, sir, are full of far too much win for one person… and I am full of far too much excitement… MUST… HAVE… MORE!!! <3
Ahh, lovely ending to it all 🙂 loveloveloved every little bit of this story you cooked up here, Aaron dear.
Hope to see another page on thursday! *crosses fingers*
YES! Just YES! This is awesome.
So um, If Mr A (or anyone who knows) happens to come across this, just curious..

Come with me, Sera, this fairie~fly will sprinkle you will majik dust, and we’ll fly off to Neverland, 2nd star to the left!
YES! YES! YES!
Something good is going to happen and you don’t get to weasel out of it, Sera! You don’t get to avoid and excuse!
Sit yo’ witchy ass down, Muhammed, because the Mountain has arrived!
YEAH, VICIOUS!!! Man, this is one of the most awesome comics out there =D
@Seedlet: they never said, but they built far too many houses for even all 57, much less any one coven…. I’d guess they had non-witchy friends around too.

Well, after thursday may have to go into hibernation till Vol. Three, Cept for the occasional look see. That or I actually, finally join the forum.
This page is drawn beautifully. Probably my favorite artwork in anything you’ve done in this series.

Great job Aaron, thanks for the great story.
Now to reread it from the beginning.

Dear lord, I just love Vicious!
