Nope. That’d be a cop out ending, and I’d be shocked if it happened. I think that we’re about to see the other shoe drop here.(in response to all the happy stuffs that have gone on so far in this volume) It can only go downhill from here.
I don’t think it’d be a cop-out at all, considering that the happy stuff that came before this on this date was all basically a lie- but I’m happy to see where it goes.
I am seeing an emphasis on the ‘I had to do something’ here, perhaps as a counter to the ‘you never do anything’. I don’t know, we’ll see where this goes.
I don’t think Sera realizes what the ecto-stuff’s doing yet, and I really don’t think she realizes that she has any control over it…
Right now, she’s wallowing, upset, burying herself in herself.
And inadvertently (or maybe not) burying Maddy, too. I think she’s going to snap out of it in a minute, but I fear what’s going to do this is a switch from self pity to anger… and that this will not end well.
i hope Sera snaps out of it and realizes that her creations are probably gonna kill someone…as much as it hurts to be betrayed…you dont want to get locked up over it.

Remember how absurdly powerful witches are in this world. I’m not saying that Sara would directly threaten a DA, but it’d have to be a brave investigator to even bring the issue up in the first place.
I have a lot more faith in Sera than to allow myself to worry. She’s sensitive but she isn’t a monster. And if she doesn’t do anything now it’ll make things worse because Maddie was who she’d hurt that way before. I think this’ll be a very transformative thing for her and Maddie both. Maddie knows how it feels when nothing is done so she did something. She’s doing for her loved one what she wished someone would’ve done for her, she just didn’t think it through and she realizes that. If you think about it they’re a bit like yin and yang, so I’m guessing and hopeful that they’ll learn from and even help eachother in the end. Aarons an awesome writer so I know it’ll be awesome however it turns out.

But remember everyone The reason the nightmares ever came to light is because one DID kill someone. Think about that. Whether she wants it or not, even if Sera isn’t a consious monster, Her monsters are. Without some form of miricle mustering the Good Will to calm the beasts isn’t gonnna happen, and i pity the fool that tries to take on the entire cave to stop Sera’s Berzerk Emotions literally tearing the person who broke her heart into as many peices as her heart is in.

I’d be willing to bet that Maddy will be saved at the last second. Either by Sera… or by our favorite redheaded witch. After all, Sera’s no murderer.
Either that or we fade to black, they come out… but Maddy’s changed. Inside. She’s now the host to Sera’s nightmares… 😉
