Original Art RIP: 2006-2008
Nah, that’s too dramatic… But I am going to take down all the original “Goodbye Crestfallen” pages at the end of the month. I just need to find a better way of drawing attention to the original art, maybe by making more of an event out of it (eBay?). I mean, dribbling the pages out week by week in small text links might seem like a winning sales strategy, but you know… even the greatest of mankind’s ideas are occasionally laid low (see: American Capitalism, 1776-2008).
Yeah, I definitely think periodic attacks of the eBay might be in my original art sales future…
But anyway, if you’d like to snag a page or two before I take them down on Nov. 1st, saunter right over HERE for the full list.
HERE AGAIN IS THE LINK TO BUY ORIGINAL ART!
LIKE THIS ONE:
Thanks in advance for buying the stuffs! Or, y’know, even if you don’t buy anything, thanks again for reading the stuffs.
(Man, I can’t wait for you guys to see the next six pages…)
Aaron, my friend, if I had the money I would wallpaper my house in your gorgeous illustrations. Almost every page that comes out, I have to force myself to not even click on that link. I hope eBay will be successful in getting more of your stuff sold! We love you, we’re just all poor as hell.
Thank you for the cherry on the “weekly wait for more great Serenity Rose story torture” sundae… lol. Seriously, your work rocks, and I hope a lot more people are drawn to your growing coven of SR zombies…
Aaron I was planning on buying one page as soon as I had the money so please let us know when you post them on ebay. I have an idea though, you should try and see if art colleges would buy them from you or maybe donate some of them for scholarship auctions.
I was lucky enough to snag myself page three as soon as it hit the website, and I must say if I could I would buy more and more and most likely never stop. So far I’ve been content with what I have, but It’s becoming harder and harder to resist getting sleeping Sera a companion…
de-lurking to ask: what about commissions? Are those still go, or is my dream of Aaron-ified Death Note and Battlestar Galactica ’03 drawings a dream I should stop dreaming?? D:
“We love you, we’re just all poor as hell.”
Pixy has summed up the long comment I had running through my head as I read this in a mere nine words.
Clover: Yep! I’m still accepting commission requests. I haven’t had as much time for them as I’d hoped, but I should (FINALLY) be able to do a few at the end of the month.
Death Note is all kinds of awesome. I especially love all the weirdly mangled Western names… (“Raye Penber?”)
Yay! That made my morning~
Oh man, have you read the prequel book, The Los Angeles BB Murder Cases? Best-worst names ever in that book (Blues-harp Babysplit is my favourite).
WHY MUST EVERYTHING I LOVE DIE?!
First Minx, now this? Lousy week.
Luckily though, I still have enough time to make a post on your comic book, Mistuh A.
TO BLOGGER! I HAVE THE UNMEDIGATED GAWL!
GAH!
Yet again you manage to pop prob’ly the most disturbing face in comic books on me. I will have nightmares of f**k ugly homophobes.
