There’s something about the coding of heartshapedskull.com that hates Macs, Safari, or both. Loading the page at home just lags my entire computer to death for several minutes, and trying to scroll down induces more lag. It works okay on my work XP box, though.
Oh no, not the lagging thing again… I cut all the image sizes in half and people are still yelling at me. Here at home I have a Mac G5 with both Safari and Firefox, and everything loads up lickety-split for me, so it’s kind of hard to tell what will work and what won’t on other people’s computers.
If any professional web designers have suggestions, please suggest! I want everybody to be able to see this stuff.
V. Ryan: Not individual issues, no, but there will be a dead tree book next year sometime.
Four days of this, and I’m *still* as enthusiastic as on day one. Man, this brings back memories…the first day I picked up Serenity Rose issue one in some backwater comic book store up in Conneticut…
I felt so hardcore back then. I mean, for a twelve-year-old.

Dude…that Buford Puck guy looks just like this one kid I went to school with for a few years. o_O
Dave: It doesn’t seem to hate my Macbook…then again, I’ve only EVER used Safari twice: to download FireFox one time, and to see if it was the browser or the computer that was having problems the other time (and that had nothing to do with this site).
I don’t think it’s image size, unless these are all 1200dpi or something. It’s got to be a bit of script or something that’s trying to run on my machine, and my machine (a mere G4) is too old. Lag’s not so bad tonight, though.
I see someone bought page 3 already!
I must say that the last TV screen of Sera here just breaks my heart.
On a lighter note, I really want her desk chair!
Are these going to be published in dead tree form as individual issues? Mr. A, let me throw money at you, please.

Do I spy a Metroid plushie under the desk there?
That is pretty sweet.

I think it’s Seras bag… It’d be pretty cool if it was a Metroid though :/
Chase news seems mildly more reputable than the other companies. Mildly…
