I am really hoping it is tears of joy. Sera deserves a break and I am afraid that if she gets shot down immediately after finally breaking out of her shell and having the courage to go after someone she wants she’ll jsut retreat back into her shell even further.
I’m going to take a quick guess and say that now that Sera as obtained the woman she loves, the nymphs will somehow dissolve as they ascend. It would only make sense. Once you have achieved that (or that somone) which you’ve always dreamed about, what other purpose is there for your fantasies than to let them go.
For Sera, who manifests her stresses into ectoplasmic forms, it is probably a tremendous burden that she may finally release herself from.
That’d be nice! I sent them an email about it a few centuries back, but never got a response. SLG tried to get more up, but no luck. Not sure if Hiveworks has any Comixology plans, but I’ll look into it. It should be there!
Given the title of this chapter, I was not expecting this scene to happen. I’m
kind ofon the edge of my seat, waiting for the other shoe to drop. Those flippin’ shoes never drop at the same time…
Panel 3: I’m seeing stress in Maddy’s eyes! Here comes that other shoe…
Floating (flying) water nymph orgy = priceless!
Oh god, tears.
Tears of joy?
Of sorrow?
Of regret?
“I’m sorry, I just can’t…” tears?
“I was hired to seduce and kill you, but now I’m falling for you” tears?
*sigh* Well, waiting for Thursday, now.

She’s not crying, actually. It’s just light reflecting off the water. Might adjust that for the book.
Ahh. Squinting against the brightness… I guess that will probably be clear after the rest of the panel on Thursday.
“Sera, can you turn it down a bit?”
I’m afraid that’s one of the hazards of half-page releases!

Dammit, now I’m afraid of Thursday. Thanks a bunch, Mr. A.
I’m just gonna assume, for the sake of my health, that Maddys reaction is because Sera turns out to be a suprisingly good kisser.
I am too.
Any chance this is ever going to be on Comixology?

Anyone else expecting Valentine to be behind this?
Me.
Me, too – see the last in the string of “tears” comments above.
Valentine is behind EVERYTHING.
