Commissions: ROUND SIXTEEN
I can’t believe it took five years to get to this:
CRAZEH.
I’d love to see a proper Tank Girl animated feature someday. All crazy mixed-media Gorillaz-style and all. Man… I’d WORK on a proper crazy mixed-media Gorillaz-style Tank Girl animated feature (if they’d have me).
Didn’t the live action movie have some animated bits put in? Little scared to go back and look now…
Anyway, here’s the rest of the Firefly/Serenity crew (the rest HERE), and some sexy ladies, too:
And even more new stuff in the COMMISSIONS GALLERY.
Now the bad news: looks like the ol’ commissions queue is gonna have to get shut down again for a while. In fact, freelance work is breathing fire on the poor thing as we speak. I’ve got a bit of time set aside at the end of June for the last few requests, but that’s about it. Hopefully I’ll be able to get it rolling again in the fall, though, so don’t hesitate to send your requests to SERENITY@HEARTSHAPEDSKULL.COM. And thanks again for all the cool challenges you guys have given me over the past couple months! So much fun.
Oh God… I just realized no one’s ever requested a Nightmare Before Christmas sketch… That seems almost, I dunno… BLASPHEMOUS.
man…if i had 50 bucks just lying around…i would send you some commission ideas….i like some of the ideas that people send you…but over all i think most of the ideas are lazy…it would annoy me when people would request you to do Sera or something from Avatar: The Last Airbender…you know…stuff you’ve done millions of times….this Tank Girl one is AWESOME…i love it….i also like the Eddie Izzard one alot….id really love to see the guys from Skinny Puppy or hell…even like you said…Jack Skellington….id also like to what i would look like….my hair is very curly and long…ugh….firefly and serenity….why do people keep telling me to watch that? i dont care for space adventures….unless it involves a xenomorph and chestbursters….that is all…
*so* luvs me da Tank Grrl. to this day, when something really awful and nasty happens, I shout out, “Foul!” à la Booga!
Yep, love Tank Girl. I’m pretty sure the Natterjack studio (in Vancouver, Canada) did the animation for the live-action movie.
