welll, that’s just great. really. i’m glad another state has stepped up. when i read the article, this line concerning the initial ban on same sex marriage stuck out to me as hilarious:
“The ban was approved by voters in 2000 but challenged by gay rights activists and the city of San Francisco.”
…because there are no gay rights activists in san francisco? i dunno. it’s just worded funny to me i guess. i’m weird.
Awesome! Oregon just passed the bill allowing gay marriage, too. Good news for folks in Portland, but of course, it’s a RAEGFEST for the non-Portland part.
…such has been the history of the state since the late 20’s. Ah well.
I know which way I’ll be voting (assuming idiots try to amend to the state constitution).
I hate how gay marriage is a big controversy…

I think that mean that whoever runs the City, (council or mayor I guess), challeged it on behalf of the entire city.
I was so happy to hear about this! It doubled the number of states that I can live in and not feel guilty about cheapening the love of others.
